Free landlord software: what is really free
Free plans differ a lot. Here is how each one is paid for and what the limits are, from the providers' own websites.
In short: LevelMoves is free for landlords with no limit on homes; it is paid by the providers who win work through it, at a fee shown on every quote. Other apps offer free plans with limits on homes or features, or a free trial before a monthly price.

Is LevelMoves really free?
Yes, for landlords: no subscription, no card, no limit on homes, no share of rent. Local providers who win work through it pay a fee that is shown on every quote. Use your own contacts and nobody pays anything.
How can landlord software be free?
Someone else pays: advertisers, paid upgrades, or, in our case, the providers who win jobs. Ask any free service how it makes money; the answer tells you whose side it is on.
What is the catch with free plans?
Usually a limit: one or two homes, no bank feed, or no tax filing. Check the limit on the provider's own pricing page before you put your records in.
