काम हो जाने के बाद, मकान-मालिक को एक योग्य व्यक्ति से लिखित पुष्टि मिलती है, और वह उसे रिपोर्ट के साथ 28 दिनों के भीतर किरायेदार और काउंसिल को भेजता है। संतोषजनक रिपोर्ट में कोई C1, C2 या FI मद नहीं होती।

The Renters' Rights Act lets the government extend it to private lets; it is in consultation until 18 December 2026; no start date has been set.
