अनोखा प्रॉपर्टी संदर्भ नंबर (UPRN)
उन्नीस अंकों तक का एक नंबर, जो ग्रेट ब्रिटेन की हर पता-योग्य जगह की पहचान करता है, जैसे घर, फ़्लैट या इमारत, और उसकी पूरी उम्र तक वही रहता है।
संक्षेप में: UPRN ग्रेट ब्रिटेन की हर पता-योग्य जगह को स्थानीय काउंसिल और Ordnance Survey द्वारा दिया गया एक अनोखा नंबर है। पता अलग तरीके से लिखा जाए या सड़क का नाम बदल दिया जाए, तब भी यह नंबर वही रहता है। सरकार ने इसे किसी प्रॉपर्टी का उल्लेख करने का खुला मानक बनाया है।

यह उपयोगी क्यों है:
- पते कई तरह से लिखे जाते हैं ("Flat 2, 10 High St" या "10b High Street"); UPRN नहीं बदलता।
- यह एक ही घर से जुड़े अलग-अलग जगहों पर रखे रिकॉर्ड को जोड़ता है, जैसे EPC register और काउंसिल के रिकॉर्ड।
- किसी इमारत के हर फ़्लैट का अपना UPRN होता है, और पूरी इमारत का एक अलग UPRN होता है।
आप सरकारी register पर किसी घर के EPC से उसका UPRN पा सकते हैं, और मानचित्र सेवाओं के ज़रिए भी। इस प्लेटफ़ॉर्म पर यह पता लगाने में मदद करता है कि एक ही घर दो बार तो नहीं जोड़ा गया।
