内務省は2026年6月30日に、right to rentに関する行動規範の改定版を公表しました。適用開始は2026年10月1日です。その日以降に行われる確認は、新しい規範に従うべきです。
影響を受ける人
イングランドで新たに成人の居住者に貸す民間の賃貸人すべてと、その確認を代わりに行う代理人です。確認の義務は変わっていません。住居に住む予定の成人全員について、賃貸借の開始前に、全員同じ方法で確認してください。

A tenancy deposit in England is capped at five weeks' rent (six weeks when the annual rent is £50,000 or more), must be protected in a government-approved scheme within 30 days of receiving it, and the tenant must get the prescribed information in the same 30 days.
